Antique Stoke-On-Trent Purple Lustre "Sailors" Pitcher. This near fine condition late 19th c. water pitcher is 7 3/4" tall & 7" wide (handle to spout), it has a seaman's poem "The Sailor's Tear" on one side & a sailing ship on the other. The foam lustre is beautifully done & there is no damage of any kind on this piece excepting some general very light crazing which appear on the white surfaces on either side. (See photos).
