Carved Meerschaum pipe(U.S. Grant) Silver shank-excellent cond. This beautifully carved male bust figure with silver shank marked "Arizona City Julio 11, 1868" All in ecxellent cond. With no observable defects. Owner's family indicate it was carved for a visit to Arizona city a suburb of Pheonix relating to Grant's running for President. Fiure looks "Grantish" but I can not verify that it is. Pipe is 5" long 21/2" at highest points.
